Hi kwam toevallig op deze link en dacht dat het misschien interessant kon zijn voor zij die dachten aan een zaak starten in de Filippijnen

Voor diegenen die plannen hebben een zaak te starten op de Filippijnen, één goede raad.

OPPASSEN  geblazen, en zorg ervoor dat je er bovenop zit.

nog zo,n goede raad,,,,, begin er NIET aan.
genoeg elende gezien van de zogenoemde zaken mensen. het enige dat er velen aan overhouden is een rechtzaak.
ik kan er zo langzamerhand wel een boek over schrijfen , over alles wat er mis gaat, problema problema.

Goed dat de regels voor het opzetten van een inkomen-genererende bezigheid de status van publicatie hebben bereikt. Maar de leges zoals deze aan de ambtenaren dienen te worden voldaan zijn slechts de "officiele" tarieven. Om uiteindelijk aam het eind van de 15 stappen te komen zullen aan de magistraten der adminstratie (die niet zo handelen als de immer correcte Dorknoper) naast de tarieven de nodige extra pecunia dienen te worden gestort om de procedure voortgang te doen vinden.
Als dan alles in Rommeldam is geregistreerd zijn er weer voldoende regels bekend om de druk op de tiende penning op te voeren en zo geniet men een aardig afgeroomd inkomen.
Een heer van stand heeft een te teer gestel om al deze onrechtvaardigheden zonder emotionele schade te kunnen ondergaan. Jonge vriend Tom Poes zou dit alles ten strengste ontraden.

Ja ga er mee akkoord dat je uiterst voorzichtig moet zijn met een zaak starten in de Filippijnen en je moet er inderdaad bovenop zitten.
Maar dacht zo dit is min of meer officiele informatie en wilde dit wel met jullie delen. Tja over de extra's wordt natuurlijk niet gesproken maar wie filippijnen een beetje kent weet ook dat de meeste zaken onder tafel geregeld worden.  En dat dit dan ook vaak de dooddoener kan zijn voor het hoegenaamd opstarten van een zaak op een officiele manier.

Nederlander bijt het stof

Deze Nederlander moest een paar jaar geleden zijn koffers pakken nadat iemand hem had "opgezet" bij de BI.
(zie bijlage).

Hetzelfde is hier onlangs gebeurd met een Brit, die was "opgezet hier door een andere brit, maar is er toch nog heelhuids uitgekomen.

Is een hele bekende zaak van de heer Kooring,die ondanks zijn vele miljoenen investeringen toch het land werd uitgeknikkerd.    Deze zaak word ook vaak gebruikt als voorbeeld om te laten zien waarom buitenlanders vooral niet moeten investeren in Filippijnen.

Wat ik denk is dat de enige mogelijkheid om daar een zaak te beginnen dat je eerst zelf de Filippijnse nationaliteit aanneemt voor je ermee start.
Zou dat niet veel beter zijn, dan kan je wel op uw naam een bedrijf uitbouwen, wat dan ook zou helpen is om vloeiend de taal te leren (tagalog of cebuano of iets anders maakt niet uit denk ik als je er maar eentje vloeiend spreekt)
Als je daar dan een poosje woont neem je vanzelf ook het bruine kleurtje aan haha

Nationaliteit aannemen, de taal beheersen, met een kleurtje.....maakt allemaal nie veel uit, je bent en blijft alltijd de witneus.

De Filippijnse nationaliteit aanvragen?
Dan moet je op zijn minst 5 jaar wachten. Een grotere binnenlandse taal vloeiend kennen is één van de voorwaarden!

Als je daar dan een poosje woont neem je vanzelf ook het bruine kleurtje aan haha

Je opmerking verraadt echter ook al dat je een zekere vooringenomenheid verwacht.

Section 2. Qualifications. – Subject to section four of this Act, any person having the following qualifications may become a citizen of the Philippines by naturalization:

• He must be not less than twenty-one years of age on the day of the hearing of the petition;
• He must have resided in the Philippines for a continuous period of not less than ten years;
• He must be of good moral character and believes in the principles underlying the Philippine Constitution, and must have conducted himself in a proper and irreproachable manner during the entire period of his residence in the Philippines in his relation with the constituted government as well as with the community in which he is living.
• He must own real estate in the Philippines  worth not less than five thousand pesos, Philippine currency, or must have some known lucrative trade, profession, or lawful occupation;
• He must be able to speak and write English or Spanish and any one of the principal Philippine languages; and
• He must have enrolled his minor children of school age, in any of the public schools or private schools recognized by the Office of Private Education of the Philippines, where the Philippine history, government and civics are taught or prescribed as part of the school curriculum, during the entire period of the residence in the Philippines required of him prior to the hearing of his petition for naturalization as Philippine citizen.

Section 3. Special qualifications. The ten years of continuous residence required under the second condition of the last preceding section shall be understood as reduced to five years for any petitioner having any of the following qualifications:

• Having honorably held office under the Government of the Philippines or under that of any of the provinces, cities, municipalities, or political subdivisions thereof;
• Having established a new industry or introduced a useful invention in the Philippines;
• Being married to a Filipino woman;
• Having been engaged as a teacher in the Philippines in a public or recognized private school not established for the exclusive instruction of children of persons of a particular nationality or race, in any of the branches of education or industry for a period of not less than two years;
• Having been born in the Philippines.

Section 4. Who are disqualified.

The following cannot be naturalized as Philippine citizens:

• Persons opposed to organized government or affiliated with any association or group of persons who uphold and teach doctrines opposing all organized governments;
• Persons defending or teaching the necessity or propriety of violence, personal assault, or assassination for the success and predominance of their ideas;
• Polygamists or believers in the practice of polygamy;
• Persons convicted of crimes involving moral turpitude;
• Persons suffering from mental alienation or incurable contagious diseases;
• Persons who, during the period of their residence in the Philippines, have not mingled socially with the Filipinos, or who have not evinced a sincere desire to learn and embrace the customs, traditions, and ideals of the Filipinos;
• Citizens or subjects of nations with whom the United States and the Philippines are at war, during the period of such war;
• Citizens or subjects of a foreign country other than the United States whose laws do not grant Filipinos the right to become naturalized citizens or subjects thereof.

je bent en blijft alltijd de witneus. 

Die witneus kan dan ook niet meer terug want hij moest zijn oude nationaliteit afstaan.
