MANILA, Philippines - Dial 1-6565 for complaints, concerns and other public sentiments against the services of six government offices.

These are the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry, National Computer Center, Philippine Health Insurance Corp. and the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The CSC will open the Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB) today to allow the public direct access to the six government agencies.

The public can dial 16565 using PLDT and Digitel landlines nationwide.

A P5 plus value added tax (VAT) will be charged per call to agents attending to their clients' concerns from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

CSC chairman Francisco Duque III said the CCB is a tool to address citizens' concerns and to achieve quality public service.

"The Contact Center ng Bayan will not only provide general information on the policies and procedures of participating agencies," he said. "It will also act as a two-way platform that will allow the public to express their feedback and complaints on the quality of frontline public service delivery."

Other contact channels for the public to air complaints and feedback like e-mail and text messaging will be developed and implemented within the next three months, Duque said.

Met de corruptie kan men anders nogal wat klachten binnen krijgen die bij geen revenue door de belstingbetalers dient te worden betaald. Dat kan nogal n bedrag zijn dan.

Bureau of Immigration staat er helaas niet bij.

Kunnen ze hier in  een voorbeeld aan nemen: 5 pesos + 12 % BTW = 5.60 pesos, dus aan de huidige koers van ongeveer 52 euro is dat 11 eurocent. Cost of living in  is drie keer die van in  , dus komt dat overeen met 33 eurocent hier. Stel dat je een half uur belt aan 10 cent per minuut, dan is de kost â,¬ 3.33 Als ik de informatie die ik nodig heb over belastingen, gezondheidszorg, economie of overheidsinformatica en ik moet daar dat bedragje voor betalen ben ik wel héél goedkoop gesteld. In  ben je al een half uur aan 't bellen met druk 1 voor dit en 2 voor dat voor de juiste persoon aan de lijn krijgt, als je een e-mail stuurt duur het weken voor je antwoord krijgt, en moet je elke dienst apart bellen.

Vraag is natuurlijk of de call agents in het Contact Center ng Bayan voldoende op de hoogte zullen zijn in het kluwen van regels in de  ....
