Vandaag kreeg ik de mail van mijn Balik Bayan service dat de papier afhandeling van de container waarin mijn Balik Bayan boxen inzitten nog langer gaat duren, doordat de regeringsgebouwen tijdens het bezoek van de Paus gesloten zijn. En ze hebben die boxen al in september verzameld  en ze moeten nog helemaal  naar Mindanoa.

Mijn ex heeft er ook een in september verstuurd, zou voor Kerstmis in Manila zijn, gisteren geleverd!
Maar of dat ook hier mee te maken heeft??

En ze hebben die boxen al in september verzameld  en ze moeten nog helemaal  naar Mindanoa.

De douane aldaar had 65 dagen nodig om mijn aangetekende pakket in te klaren en bij het postkantoor van de geadresseerde (in Luzon) te krijgen. Het versturen daar naartoe nam volgens track en trace 18 dagen in beslag. Uiteindelijk 83 dagen in totaal. Welliswaar geen BalikBayanBox maar wellicht een indicatie voor anderen ter overweging.

Iets wat ik via Ebay gekocht had en vanuit Polen als 'brief' (was een artikel wat men uit de doos had gehaald en in een enveloppe had gepropt) naar Phils verstuurd werd duurde 16 dagen.

The transfer "is being fast tracked because of the scheduled visit of the Pope next year," Petilla said.
In his letter to Petilla, Pope Francis said, "What part of 'visiting the typhoon victims' do you not understand? That is the primary reason I am coming to the Philippines. Do not displace them just to impress me because I am not that easily impressed, especially by those who are not truthful like yourself."

Schijnt dat die brief van de paus een hoax is volgens sommige bronnen.

Ach het hele vaticaan is een hoax en kost enkel maar geld.

Aangezien Smart een van de sponsors is van de pope visit is nu dus onder het mom van veiligheid bijna geen cp signal van Smart aanwezig en vanmorgen had ik ook geen smartbro internet(nu net terug gekregen).

Ze stuurde zelfs een text met apologize omdat er geen cp signal was. Ze verzinnen wat om het geld weer terug te krijgen.

dat hele debacle duurt dan ook nog tot de 20e en geloof maar niet dat er enige compensatie is voor de verloren maar wel betaalde internet tijd.

Dat MC band spul had ik vroeger ook op de flat in Beverwijk en moest via het balkon van de Spaanse buren het 45 graden dak op na een storm om de mooie antenne weer te repareren...

Merken zoals Lafayette, Robyn enz... en dan mocht je maar tot een vermogen van 5watts zenden maar we hadden allemaal een linear amp. van minstens 50W er achter staan en dan kwam de PTT in een wagen met een zoekantenne om je spul in beslag te nemen.....
