it would be better if its in the vlaams side of zo. dutch speaking side of beglium. we saw some in kortrijk, gent of zo. and they are not so far from the boarder to netherlands. it will be difficult also for our kids to change language again if we are at the french side. thats the problem. my husband doesnt speak french also and neither can i.

yes the house we are looking is to be in belgium.
hoping to find with 2bedrooms coz we have a 5months old and a 2yrs old kiddos.
kleine huisje would be great and somewhere around 300 tot 400euro p/m
somewhere in belgium where they speak dutch, we hope.

I wish you good luck with finding a small house with two rooms for the renting price you are suggesting. Nowadays it's already difficult to find a place for around 500 euro.
that is true. infact we called few already but then if we make appointments to go there, they are then not available. its very frustrating now. we called i think more than 20houses already. :weetikniet:
You are already in Europe then if you can make appointment to see the houses. Or you send a family member to check?

foxxnaoj, what I understand from all your postings is that you're still in the Philippines and your husband in Holland and you want to try the Belgie route to get a visa.
It's not so difficult to find a place in Belgium, specialy when your husband is already in Holland but he must do an effort also.
Don't expect to much house for 300 a 400â,¬/m, for that price you can find a 1 bedroom small appartment.

we found a house and just signed contract. its a big 3bedroom house with keline tuinje for 440euro per month. nice ha?!.

Voor zover ik weet worden buitenlanders hier vrij goed ontvangen. Toch zeker als ze zich de moeite lonen om zich aan te passen. Het is veeleer een probleem als ze zich niet echt willen aanpassen. Hoewel je goed aanvaard wordt blijf je toch altijd in zekere zin een buitenlander. Maar ja als wij in de Filippijnen wonen is dat toch net hetzelfde lijkt mij. Het is maar hoe je er tegenover staat lijkt mij.

Aanpassen is het probleem niet. ben geboren en getogen Brabander, met veel kennissen in België. Ik weet dat veel voorzieningen goed, zo niet beter zijn dan in Nederland (Voor zover België dat volhoud). Ik werk in Waalwijk, bij Tilburg, dus net over de grens Antwerpen is gunstig. Ik ben echter ook bekend met de gemeentes net over de grens Limburg. Achel, hammont, lommel, retie. Turnhout, arendonk, ravels poppel, weelde, die kant op.
Het is Hamont-Achel eigenlijk. :biggrinn:
Grote Heide is ook heel bekend over de grens, vooral bij personen die kogelvrije ramen in hun villa hebben. :denk:
Of Lanaken waar ze poetsvrouwen hebben, die met een pistool op zak het huis netjes houden ( dat van de netjes houden veronderstel ik enkel) :confused2:
Fail over, gelieve niet te veel reclame te maken hier. Het is al netjes zoals het is.
Ik werk in Tilburg, dus iets net over de grens is welkom. Huisje, appartement te huur met minimaal 2 slaapkamers.
Poppel, Weelde, Ravels, Turnhout. Lommel, Achel. of zo iets? iemand?
Lommel of Achel lijkt me niet zo handig want dan moet je via Eindhoven rijden. Langs de weg Tilburg-Turnhout is volgens mij handiger om een locatie te zoeken.
Via kapaza.be en anders even in het weekend rondrijden.
Je hebt toch een GPS ingeval de wegwijzers ontbreken? :biggrinn:

Nu heb ik GPS ja. Heel handig. Voorheen draaide ik een routeplanner uit. Alleen niet handig dat er tegenwoordig geen of weinig straatnaambordjes meer staan. :negatief:

Ben vorig weekend nog in Tilburg geweest. Vanuit Antwerpen is het een 50-tal minuten rijden. Het beste voor te huren lijkt mij Turnhout en omstreken te zijn. Dat is vrij kort bij Tilburg - een kleine 20 min rijden.
Hmm, ja, Turnhout blijkt geografisch toch de beste ligging te hebben. Zoek alleen iets wat ook redelijk dich bij (basis)scholen is en andere voorzieningen. Dus ergens richting centrum lijkt me wel wat.
Iemand ervaring met de "gastvrijheid" van buitenlanders ( :nederlandsevlag:/ :smiley-philippines: in/van gemeente Turnhout?
Turnhout is een relatief grote stad en heb persoonlijk nog geen negatief nieuws gehoord betreffende slechte behandeling buitenlanders. Nu ja je moet maar pech hebben en een slechte buur treffen maar ja dat kan overal.

is een hoop keus in Turnhout, en nog binnen m'n budget ook.
Dus dat gaat wel werken.

Gisteren wist men op het nieuws te melden dat de mensen zich in Turnhout zich zeer veilig voelen en hoogst tevreden zijn van de politie en alle verwanten diensten. Mocht dit een geruststelling zijn
Ja ja in Turnhout is wel wat te beleven en te leven......alleen het dialect ligt me wat moeilijk, buiten dat vind je daar genoeg Nederlanders die daar wonen met een andere reden dan jij.
Zolang je geen sluier of iets dergelijks draagt doen ze daar ook niet moeilijk.
Ik zou in jouw geval ook opteren voor die regio, vooral Turnhout wat betreft de goede verbinding....de randgemeenten lijkt me kwestie verbinding wat moeilijker.

Ik kom zelf uit Eersel en we gingen heel vaak naar Turnhout op stap en dat was :thumb:. Mooie plaats en een zeer mooi centrum. Wonen kan ik niks van zeggen maar het lijkt me leuk.
