Aliens with immigrant, non-immigrant Visas
may enter PH beginning May 1
PASAY, Philippines—Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente
announced that they will be implementing the resolution of the Inter-Agency Task Force
for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) allowing the entry of aliens
with valid and existing visas beginning May 1.
According to the BI, this includes aliens with existing immigrant and non-immigrant
visas.
"In compliance to the IATF ruling, foreign residents, students, investors, and
workers who are holding valid and existing visas may now return to the Philippines," said
Morente.
Additionally, foreign nationals qualified under the government's Republic Act No.
6768 or the Balikbayan Program may also be allowed to enter visa free.
The said program allows the spouse and the children of a Filipino national traveling
with the Filipino spouse or parent, or a former Filipino who has acquired the citizenship of
another country, to enter visa free if part of the 157 countries covered by EO 408.
Morente added that foreign nationals who are holders of valid and existing Special
Resident and Retirees Visa (SRRV) or Section 9(a) temporary visitors' visas, may be allowed
entry provided they present an entry exemption document issued by the Department of
Foreign Affairs upon arrival.
Arriving passengers, except for diplomats and members of international
organizations holding Section 9(e) visas, are required to present a pre-booked
accommodation for at least 7 nights in an accredited quarantine hotel of facility, and are
subject to Covid-19 testing at the quarantine facility on the 6th day from date of arrival.

15. Upon arrival in the concerned individual's LGU of destination, he/she shall report to his/her barangay officials for accounting and instructions. To note, his/her LGU of destination has been informed earlier regarding the concerned individual's arrival through the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) mechanism. The concerned individual shall strictly bear in mind that any delay in reporting to his/her barangay officials can be grounds for imposition of another 14-day quarantine.

16. The concerned individual shall complete home quarantine/quarantine at the barangay for the remaining period until the required 14-day quarantine is completed or as prescribed by the LGU of destination.

17. Once discharged from quarantine by LGU of destination, the concerned individual shall continue observing minimum health standards such as wearing of face mask, maintaining physical distance and washing of hands.

Foreign tourists still banned from PH, BI reminds public
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) reminded the public that foreign tourists are still
banned from entering the Philippines despite the lifting of certain travel restrictions that
took effect Saturday.
In a statement, BI Commissioner Jaime Morente stressed that only foreigners with
valid and existing visas are currently allowed to enter the country.
"Foreign tourists are still prohibited from entering the country and said restriction
remains effective until it is lifted by the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging
Infectious Diseases)," Morente said.
He explained that the country only reverted to implementing the travel
international guidelines that existed prior to March 22 when the government reimposed a
ban on the entry of all foreigners due to recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the country.
"The recent easing of travel restrictions applies only to those aliens who were
allowed to come here before March 22 and they should have valid and existing visas at
the time of their arrival in our ports of entry," the BI chief added.
The BI earlier announced that starting May 1 aliens with existing immigrant and
non-immigrant visas may again enter the country.
Exempted from the visa requirement are the foreign spouse and children of
Balikbayans or returning Filipinos and former Filipinos who are travelling with the latter.
Foreigners who are holders of valid and existing Special Resident and Retirees Visa
(SRRV) or Section 9(a) temporary visitors' visas may be allowed entry, provided they
present an entry exemption document from the Department of Foreign Affairs upon
arrival.
Execept for foreign diplomats and members of international organizations, all
foreign travelers are required to present a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven
nights in an accredited quarantine hotel of facility where they will be tested for COVID-
19 on the sixth day from date of their arrival.
The BI also emphasied that following the IATF, travellers who came from India or
have a travel history to India within the last 14 days preceding their arrival are banned
from entering the country until May 14

Die zullen, zoals voorheen, nog steeds een visum moeten aanvragen bij de PH Ambassade met bewijzen dat ze getrouwd zijn met een filipino of vader zijn van een filipino.

Ik ben op 3 mei geland in Manila (13A visa). Van tevoren hotel geboekt for 8 dagen, op de website van PH Red Cross de e-CIF ingevuld en tevens de PCR test geboekt en betaald die wordt afgenomen op de 6e dag na aankomst. Je krijgt dan via e-mail een QR code en voor de betaling ook een e-,ail met reference code. Dag van de landing is dag NUL dus simpel gezegd op de 6e dag komen ze testen op je hotel kamer.

Tevens op de onderstaande link alvast een S-Pass (schijnbaar nieuw) aangevraagd voor mijn doorreis naar Cagayan De Oro.

Momenteel is mijn vrouw bezig om toestemming voor huis quarantaine van de Home Owners (is nooit een probleem) en met die brief naar de Barangay om daar ook weer toestemming te vragen. Beidde vorige keren dat ik binnen kwam (July 2020 en January 2021) was dat nooit een probleem. Hopelijk nu ook weer. Dan zal je als het goed is thuis je 14 dagen moeten af maken.

Kwam binnen met Turkish Airlines Terminal 3 (werk momenteel in Kazakhstan) en zover ik kon zien was ik de enige "foreigner" en was tevens als eerste uit het vliegveld.
Op het vliegtuig krijg je naast de standaard immigratie kaart ook een gele health declaration die je inlevert voordat je de immigratie hal in loopt. Vervolgens loop je door en moet je eerst naar een rij met tafeltjes van DOT. Daar laat je de hotel boeking zien en moet je weer een soort "declaration Of Undertaking" invullen die je pas afgeeft als je vliegveld uit loopt bij een tafeltje van de Coast Guard. Tevens krijg je een formuliertje wat zij invullen voor taxi en dat jij aan taxi moet geven.
Na DOT schuif je over naar rechts en daar is de registratie van RT-PCR tests. Daar laat je zien dat je al geboekt en betaald hebt en mag je gelijk doorlopen naar immigratie. Die vroegen mij alleen (en dat is voor het eerst) om mijn vorige exit clearance afschrift. Mazzel dat ik die nog in mijn tas had (van begin maart dit jaar).

Vervolgens pak je bagage op, geef je die "declaratie of Undertaking" of aan Coast Guard, loop je door naar de taxi, en door naar hotel (moet trouwens wel een goedgekeurd hotel zijn voor strict quarantaine of zoiets. Die lijst kan je ook op internet vinden. Ben effe website kwijt maar ik gebruik altijd de zelfde die al is goedgekeurd (Belmont bij T3)

Nog een mailtje naar Red Cross gestuurd toen ik eenmaal in hotel zat om "de boel warm te houden" en kreeg een mailtje terug met een Excel Spreadsheet waar ik weer wat gegevens op in moest vullen. Na dat terug te hebben gestuurd kreeg ik een mailtje dat ze op 8 mei langs komen voor PCR test (wordt PCR test nummer 16 voor mij en heb er nog steeds de schurft aan)

Kazakhstan binnen komen is ook een drama. Moet ten eerste een work permit hebben, dan een brief van Chevron (bedrijf), een speciale toestemming brief van de overheid, ook weer een PCR test die niet ouder is dan 72 uur. Bij aankomst Kazakhstan 7 dagen in quarantaine in hotel, PCR test etc. Is dus ook niet makkelijk

En om op de vlucht naar manila te komen moet je dus ook weer een RT-PCR test laten zien (niet ouder dan 72 uur), ze willen je residence kaart zien en ook hotel boeking etc. Allemaal lood om oud ijzer...elk land is 1 pot nat om binnen te komen momenteel.

DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio issued Executive Order No. 26 on Thursday, May 6, 2021, allowing the resumption of all kinds of flights, such as scheduled international flights, unscheduled domestic commercial flights (chartered), and other general aviation flights to and from Davao City.

Duterte-Carpio, according to the EO, said there has been a proposal in a letter dated May 4 from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap)-Davao International Airport (DIA) highlighting the need to remove all restrictions on flight operations to allow for more economic activities in relation to civil aviation.

City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) Head Generose Tecson said the lifting of restrictions of all air travel will further encourage air companies to resume their international flight operation.
