Als 13A-visum-houder kan je gedegradeerd worden als ze ontdekken dat je Filipina overleden is Of als je gescheiden bent in het buitenland.

Jaren geleden ergens gelezen dat de immigratie in luchthaven 13A-visa ongedaan maakten van Amerikanen die een tripje over-en-weer naar Guam maakten om daar een echtscheiding te bekomen....

GUIDELINES FOR REVOCATION OF NON-QUOTA IMMIGRANT VISA UNDER COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 613, SECTION 13(A) OR TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA

In accordance with Opinion No. 52, series of 2013, issued by the Secretary of the Department of Justice (DOJ) on 17 June 2013 concerning the interpretation of Section 13(a) of Commonwealth Act (C.A.) No. 613, otherwise known as the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, as amended, and the application thereof on Temporary resident Visa (TRV under Law Instruction 33 and Memorandum Order No. ADD-01-038, the following guidelines shall be observed:

• The dissolution of marriage by declaration of nullity, annulment, legal separation or separation de facto between the foreign husband and Filipino wife shall operate as a ground for the revocation of the foreign husband's Non-Quota Immigrant Visa under C.A. no. 613, Section 13(a) or TRV, except:
  
  • If the dissolution of the marriage is due to the death of the Filipino wife and there is/are surviving child/children of such marriage; and
  • In case of petition for
    
    • adjustment of status from Temporary Visitor Visa under C.A. No. 613, Section 9(a) to Non- Quota Immigrant Visa under C.A. No. 613, Section 13(a) or TRV; or
    • amendment or extension thereof, respectively, the surviving foreign husband, in his own capacity¹, or the child, as petitioner²,
    may file a petition for Non-Quota Immigrant Visa under C.A. No. 613, Section 13(a) or TRV of the foreign husband.
• Dependents under Non-Quota Immigrant Visa under C.A. No. 613, Section 13(a) or TRV must be:
  
  • Under twenty one (21) years of age;
  • Unmarried; and
  • Accompanying or following to join his Filipino parent.

In case the dependent of a Non-Quota Immigrant Visa under C.A. No. 613, Section 13(a) or TRV attains twenty one (21) years of age or marries, such dependent shall already be disqualified and shall cause the revocation of his/her dependent visa.

This Circular takes effect immediately.

Ja dat klopt. Na het overlijden van mijn vrouw in 2015 ben ik weer "teruggevallen" naar toerist.

Dat is nu vooral lastig omdat ik geen Balikbayan meer ben en weer gewoon een visum moet hebben en ik houd niet van een immigration office. Elke keer weer een hoop gedoe.

Nu met dat covid gedoe wordt het er allemaal niet makkelijker op. Ik ben nu bezig met de ambassade om toch eventueel een 59 dagen visum vooraf te krijgen, we gaan zien of dat gaat.

Verder is het niet zo erg, ik had al ruim 10 jaar geleden voor mezelf besloten dat de Filipijnen als woonplaats voor mij niet zo geschikt was.

Ik heb nog wel steeds een SSS-weduwnaarsuitkering, dat is wel bijzonder.

Alleen het te blokkeren bedrag is toch wel een smak geld - zou je een mooie auto van kunnen kopen maar dat mag niet...

Dat VISA verlengen is een heel gedoe..... ik doe het meestal zelf maar je kunt het ook laten doen door een Travel Agent..      in Manila en AC vroegen ze er 1000 peso voor.... en je hoeft zelf niet meer naar Immigration.

Wat kost tegenwoordig dat SRRV  visa 
Ik meen dat de jaarlijkse kosten ook zo,n  400 euro zijn dus zo goedkoop is het niet.

Annual Fee: USD360 upon application and every year, USD100 each in excess of 2 dependents. USD10 each for Courtesy program.

    Original valid Passport with valid /updated Temporary Visitor's Visa;
    Accomplished PRA Application Form;
    Original valid Medical Clearance;
    Original valid Police Clearance from country of origin, and an additional NBI Clearance, if applicant has stayed in the Philippines for over 30 days from last date of entry;
    Photos (8 pieces, 2″x2″);
    SRR Visa deposit that is inwardly remitted;

    US$ 300.00 Dependent applicant

    Annual Fee of US$360.00 (for the Principal & 2 dependents)

Additional requirements may be requested depending on the SRR Visa Option to be chosen by the SRRV applicant. The Medical and Police Clearances are valid up to 6 months from date of issuance.
