MANILA — Although Malacañang did not declare Chinese New Year as holiday, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) called on travelers to avail of two major seat promotions next month.

For the Chinese New Year, the company dropped fares to a flat rate of P1,102 for a one-way flight on Fiesta Class (economy) between Manila and any point in Luzon or Visayas.

One-way flights on Fiesta Class between Manila and any point in Mindanao, on the other hand, cost P2,011.
