New SEAIR promo

Dteline,ph Posted on 25 Jul 2011

South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) will be offering fares for as low as P999 for Clark to Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau until July 27. The promo is valid for travel on Aug. 1 to March 31, 2012 for Hong Kong and Macau, and Sept. 1 to Nov. 30 for Singapore.

SEAIR has announced that it will increase its flights to Hong Kong to nine times weekly starting Oct. 1, and then up the ante to 14 times weekly from Oct. 30 onward. The airline will also increase its Clark-Singapore flights to twice daily starting September.

Hong Kong, a former British colony, is best known as a shopping mecca, with high-street designer shopping, cut-price designer outlets and cheap gadgets, electrical appliances and clothing available at night markets and outdoor flea markets. Other attractions include Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Disneyland, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Wong Tai Sin Temple, and Man Mo Temple, Hong Kong's oldest and most important temple built in the 1840's.

The fourth leading financial center and one of the five busiest ports in the world, Singapore offers tourists a range of cultural, informational, and entertaining experiences with places like the Singapore Zoo, acclaimed as one of the world's most spectacular zoos, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Chinatown Heritage Center, and CHIJMES (pronounced "chimes"), a national heritage site filled with restaurants and shops, and the Universal Studios Singapore at the Resorts World Sentosa.

The peninsula of Macau lies on the southeast portion of Mainland China and has a mild subtropical climate. On its streets can be found both modern and well-preserved ancient baroque churches, dating back to its days as a Portuguese colony, as well as stylish Art Deco buildings comparable to those found in Hong Kong, and a unique system of suburban Chinese temples. At the heart of Macau is the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, consisting of over 20 landmarks, including the iconic Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral.

SEAIR also announced it achieved 89% on-time performance for its Airbus flights for the first half of 2011, with a peak season on-time performance of 94% for April and 92% for May. SEAIR uses the 144-seater Airbus 319 aircraft for its flights from Clark to Macau, Hong Kong, and Singapore. A flight is considered on-time if it arrives or departs not more than 15 minutes from the published time of departure or arrival.

SEAIR is the nation's second-oldest airline and has flown almost 3 million passengers to local destinations including Boracay via Caticlan, Batanes, El Nido, Romblon, Cebu, Clark, Taytay in Palawan, and Kalibo in Aklan. The airline recently opened a new route in Vigan. SEAIR offers the most routes from Caticlan with flights from Caticlan to Manila, Clark, and Cebu. It has the longest history of uninterrupted service to Boracay direct via Caticlan with SEAIR having the fastest flights.
