red Ribbon zijn van die rode linten op je papieren.....legalisatie door de phils.. doordat aanvaard de ambassade je papieren......ze (de ambassade) legarizeren je papieren voor Belgie ook nog eens bij de de visum aanvraag voor 

Nadien maken ze bij aanmelding op het gemeentehuis in Belgie helemaal geen probleem.

aub zeg , wanneer gaat dit nu stoppen ? ze hebben me duidelijk bevestigd ........geen vertalingen van het engles nodig voor de visa applicatie in manilla ,en dat sturen ze natuurlijk door naar DVZ in belgie ,want die geven de beslissing

Moeten de ^papieren nu vertaald worden of niet ??

t is natuurlijk wel zo dat deze documenten  , birthcert , huwelijksakte enz mogelijk via de ambasade doorgestuurd worden naar DVZ ...........dus de  vraag die ik stel is ..........moeten deze papieren nu vertaald worden of niet???


sorry voor dit alles , heb nu nog ongeveer 10 dagen tijd om dit te doen , wel bedankt voor de verwarring !

Visa for family reunion with EU CITIZEN







These are the requirements for Filipino citizens who wish to travel to Belgium in order to live with a person who is a Belgian citizen or an EU national.


This type of visa can only be granted/refused by Home Office (visa department) in Brussels. The Embassy has no power of decision. All applications of this type have to be submitted to Home Office (visa department) in Brussels.





GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILY REUNIFICATION (Family Member of a Citizen of the European Union)



1.      Personal appearance of the applicant with appointment at


1 909 1014545 (PLDT only through landline or SMART mobile phone)
1 903 1014545 (Bayantel only through landline)
1 900 1014545 (Globe through landline and GLOBE mobile phone)




2.      Passport valid at least 12 months from the date the application is submitted (**)

3.      Two duly completed and signed application forms with two recent 2 x 2 coloured passport-size photos with WHITE background

4.      Birth Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

5.      Copy of the Identity Card (carte d'identité belge/Belgische identiteitskaart) of the spouse residing in Belgium who is a Belgian citizen or an EU national

6.   Proof of sufficient lodging in Belgium

7.   Proof of regular, sufficient and stable income EU partner

8.   Proof of medical insurance covering both the applicant and the EU partner

1.       Marriage Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

2.       Proof of Civil Status of the applicant before marriage



·        If single, Certificate of Single Status called Certificate of Non-Appearance in the National Indices of Marriage on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

·        If annulled/divorced, Annulment/Divorce Certificate on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

·        If widow/widower, Death Certificate on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

DEPENDENTS 21 years old and under:



1.      Birth Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

2.      If 18 years old and above, Certificate of Single Status called Certificate of Non-Appearance in the National Indices of Marriage on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

3.      If 18 years old and above, NBI Clearance



DEPENDENTS over 21 years old:



1.      Birth Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

2.      Certificate of Single Status called Certificate of Non-Appearance in the National Indices of Marriage on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

3.      Proof of financial dependency

4.      Last Tax Declaration of the parent/s to be joined in Belgium

5.      Proof that the applicant has no income (BIR Certification + SSS Certification)



ASCENDANTS (Parents) - ONLY possible FOR ascendants of EU & EEE partners



1.       Birth Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

2.       Proof of Civil Status of the applicant:



a.       If Married, Marriage Certificate of the applicant on NSO Security Paper, authenticated by DFA

b.       If single, Certificate of Single Status called Certificate of Non-Appearance in the National Indices of Marriage on NSO Security Paper authenticated by DFA

6.      Proof that the applicant has no income (BIR Certification + SSS Certification) and family composition (Barangay)





No documents should be older than 6 months, for the Embassy of Belgium it is not necessary to submit a translation of any documents drafted in English or any of our Belgian national languages.



(**) Please be advised that a married woman, in adopting a surname, may elect any of the following three (3) options provided in Article 370 of the Civil Code, namely: (1) her maiden first name and surname and add her husband's surname; or (2) her maiden first name and her husband's surname; or (3) her husband's full name, but prefixing a word indicating that she is his wife, such as "Mrs.". Zie daar niet veel verschil in , wat betreft de fillipijnse documenten voor .
En ja , dat hele gelegaliseer en vertalen is een echte soep ....maar zo werd het mij uitgelegt.

@grammaracer. De documenten zijn toch in het engels wat aanvaardt wordt door de ambassade.

ja natuurlijk Stijn , haar documenten zijn in het engels ,red ribbon en alles erop ,maar Tis wel zo dat de uiteindelijke beslissing bij DVZ in  ligt , en niet in de  ambasade in    ,dat dossier wordt nl doorgestuurd , en mits de 2 sites , die van DVZ (wel vertaling) en die van  :belgiesmiley:ambasade (geen vertaling) nogal tegengesteld zijn ,is het moeilijk beoordelen of je al dan niet vertalingen nodig hebt

Dus Ronny55 zou wel eens gelijk kunnen hebben wat de vertalingen betreft natuurlijk

kwil geen visa weigering riskeren en weer  6 maand te moeten wachten  omwille van al dan niet /wel vertalingen nodig of niet ,desnoods stell ik alles terug uit om deze vertalingen uit te voeren ,pijnlijk want ik heb reeds vlucht en hotel geboekt naar manilla ,mijn vrouw is nl van davao (mindanao).de  ambasade is niet achter de hoek dus
