CATHAY PACIFIC LAUNCHES NEWS FLIGHTS TO BRUSSELS, DUBLIN AND COPENHAGEN
31 August, 2017

Cathay Pacific has announced it will open new direct non-stop routes to Brussels, Dublin and Copenhagen. All three new routes will be opened in 2018.

Brussels

A new direct non-stop service between Brussels and Hong Kong will be operated as from 25 March 2018. The route will be flown four times per week and will be operated with Airbus A350 aircraft. The flight will arrive at Brussels Airport at 06:55 local time and will depart again at 13:10 local time.

The new route will allow Brussels Airport to further strengthen its Asian network. The airport is already connected with Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok and Mumbai and a new direct flight to Shanghai will be opened soon.

Last year, about 50,000 passengers travelled between Hong Kong and Belgium. The direct route to Hong Kong holds a huge potential for Belgian business travellers who place Hong Kong as the number 1 most wanted destination as it offers convenient onward connections to China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, etc.

For much more info on this new direct non-stop flight between Hong Kong and Brussels, read our separate article 'Cathay Pacific to connect Brussels Airport and Hong Kong'.

Point-to-point buses to ply NAIA-Clark Sept. 15

MANILA - Point-to-point buses will start ferrying passengers between the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City and the Clark International Airport in Pampanga starting Friday.
Genesis Transport Service Inc., which won the bidding for the route, said ten buses will be deployed Friday, with the number expected to grow to 48 units next year.
Each bus can carry 50 passengers and is equipped with a CCTV, a GPS tracker, wifi, and charging stations for mobile gadgets.
From Clark, passengers can choose to get off at either Trinoma Mall in Quezon City or at the NAIA Terminal 3.
A trip from Clark to NAIA will cost P350, Clark to Ortigas in Pasig City at P300, and Clark to North Edsa in Quezon City at P250.
The Department of Transportation said additional point-to-point routes from Clark to other destinations in northern and central Luzon will be available soon. -- with a report from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
