foxxnaoj, what I understand from all your postings is that you're still in the Philippines and your husband in Holland and you want to try the Belgie route to get a visa.

It's not so difficult to find a place in Belgium, specialy when your husband is already in Holland but he must do an effort also.

Don't expect to much house for 300 a 400â,¬/m, for that price you can find a 1 bedroom small appartment.

we found a house and just signed contract. its a big 3bedroom house with keline tuinje for 440euro per month. nice ha?!.

Hi, nice to hear you have found a nice place to stay.
Im searching for a place to stay in Belgium for myselfe and for my wilfe and kids later. In the mine while i have a appartment for rent in the Netherlands. Maybe some of you know someone who is in need of some space.

What city you stay at? And how they look at forgneirs to stay? Im realy looking for some advise for staying in Belgium, near the NL border.

Voor zover ik weet worden buitenlanders hier vrij goed ontvangen.  Toch zeker als ze zich de moeite lonen om zich aan te passen.  Het is veeleer een probleem als ze zich niet echt willen aanpassen.  Hoewel je goed aanvaard wordt blijf je toch altijd in zekere zin een buitenlander.  Maar ja als wij in de Filippijnen wonen is dat toch net hetzelfde lijkt mij.  Het is maar hoe je er tegenover staat lijkt mij.

Aanpassen is het probleem niet. ben geboren en getogen Brabander, met veel kennissen in België. Ik weet dat veel voorzieningen goed, zo niet beter zijn dan in Nederland (Voor zover België dat volhoud). Ik werk in Waalwijk, bij Tilburg, dus net over de grens Antwerpen is gunstig. Ik ben echter ook bekend met de gemeentes net over de grens Limburg. Achel, hammont, lommel, retie. Turnhout, arendonk, ravels poppel, weelde, die kant op.

Het is Hamont-Achel eigenlijk. 

Grote Heide is ook heel bekend over de grens, vooral bij personen die kogelvrije ramen in hun villa hebben.

Of Lanaken waar ze poetsvrouwen hebben, die met een pistool op zak het huis netjes houden ( dat van de netjes houden veronderstel ik enkel)
