Er zijn hier personen waarvan ik er één heel goed ken die het 24 maanden hebben kunnen doen tegen NORMALE visa-extension prijzen: Na 16 maanden weer vier x (twee maandelijkse) extensions. Deze persoon kent ook een paar andere buitenlanders die hier 36 maanden hebben gezeten als toerists met valid extensions.

And money talks , men kan zelfs een perminent verblijfsvergunning kopen  als alleenstaande ....+/-  40 th php ....

Dat is juist, zolang je de juiste "middleman" hebt. Met de juiste "middleman" kan je veel kopen hier.

Er is blijkbaar een aangepast programma gestart dat SMILE noemt. Een zogezegde vereenvoudigde procedure:

SMILE has the following simple features: a low deposit of USD20,000, a one-time PRA processing fee of USD800, exclusive of NBI, Bureau of Immigration, and medical examination fees. SMILE is the old SRRV, that allows indefinite stay, multiple entry, but with the simple and singular concept that the deposit of USD20,000 is pure collateral. As plain and simple collateral, the deposit is not to be converted into any other asset, but intended to settle any unmet obligations at primarily the end of the retiree's stay. SMILE will cover both the early retirement (ages 35 to 49) and normal retirement (50 and above) markets.

SMILE will also charge an annual maintenance and servicing fee (MSF) of USD500, payable every anniversary date of enrollment. There is no need to charge any visitorial fee, since there is no conversion to assets that have to be inspected annually. There is no need to charge a management fee that takes out 1.5% of the interest on the retiree deposit, an amount insignificant years ago, but now considered significant in the light of prevailing low interest rates. There is no need to charge any harmonization fee since migration by existing clients to SMILE, when allowed or even required, will be at no cost to the retiree.

The MSF will cover the retiree's card, which must be renewed annually. The card will serve the following functions: an identification card, proof of legal immigration status, a discount card for transactions in accredited retirement facilities and with accredited merchant partners, a membership card in accredited exclusive clubs, and an enrollment card for the SWS service center.

The SMILE principal is eligible to bring with him, his spouse and one child dependent. Each additional dependent will need a further deposit of USD15,000 each. The annual principal's MSF will cover the principal and spouse, but each child dependent will require an MSF of USD100, until the child reaches 21 years old. At that age and beyond his MSF will be USD500, until he reaches 35. At that age, he must apply to be a principal himself.

The SMILE retiree deposits will be deposited with accredited banks notably government banks, Land Bank and DBP.

Existing clients with deposits greater than USD20,000 will be allowed to migrate to Smile. This will have to be the subject of further study. Existing clients who have converted their deposits to non deposit assets will continue with the annual visitorial arrangement.

Voor 50 T peso of misschien iets meer kan je een 13a "onder de tafel kopen" met de juiste "middleman" en dan heb je de 20 T dollar nog in je zak en dat is ongeveer 870 duizend pesos. Groot verschil voor alleen wat extra werk ?

BI lifts ban on quota immigrant visas for foreigners

After suspending the issuance of five-month quota immigrant visas to foreign nationals, the Bureau of Immigration will resume giving out such visas following new guidelines under a recently released memorandum circular.

Commissioner Ronaldo Ledesma said the processing and approval of such visas under past administrations were "prone to corruption" and led to alleged anomalies, making it as necessary to suspend the practice first before adopting stricter measures to ensure that only legitimate and qualified applicants are granted such permanent visas.

"We needed to formulate guidelines on accountability, transparency and good governance with regard to the issuance of the quota immigrant visas to prevent abuse," said Ledesma.

Under the 1940 Philippine Immigration Act, quota immigrant visas are issued only to nationals of countries which have diplomatic relations with the Philippines and grant Filipinos the same immigration privileges under the principle of reciprocity.

Ledesma said under the new rules, only foreigners with special scientific, educational and technical skills and knowledge and those with viable investments in the Philippines can avail of the visa.

Only the BI commissioner may issue such visas, but limited to only 50 visas per foreign nationality every year.

Ledesma said the new guidelines are "no longer prone to abuse as they conform to the present administration's thrusts to institute transparency and curb corruption in the bureaucracy."

He said the BI will start accepting applications for the quota visa after a personnel order is issued designating the authorized immigration legal officers who would hear and screen such applications.

Cited for successfully cutting red tape

Civil Service Commission chairman Francisco Duque made a surprise visit to the BI main office in Intramuros, Manila on March 4 as part of the commission's heightened campaign to cut red tape in the bureaucracy in compliance with the provisions of the Anti-Red Tape Act.

The CSC chair inspected the BI's National Operations Center that monitor the activities in all the country's international airports, the Alien Registration Division, visa extension and student sections to observe how transactions are done in the three offices most frequented by foreigners.

Ledesma showed Duque a copy of the bureau's citizen's charter which details the step-by-step processes and procedures for processing visa applications and other immigration documents.

Duque in turn handed to Ledesma the CSC's report card showing that in terms of implementing the ARTA, the BI had obtained a highest grade among government agencies nationwide – 79 percent and a descriptive rating of "good." — MRT/VS, GMA News

Voordelen van de ACR-i card zie http://www.philippine-portal.com/ACR/advantage-and-convenience-of-the-ACR-I-card.html. Bovendien heb je daarmee geen aparte  re-entry en Emigration Clearance Certificate nodig.

Misschien snap ik het niet maar ik betaal gewoon exit clearance and re entry permit kosten als ik het land uit gaat
Kosten 2850. Je komt er echt niet uit als deze niet op je kaart zijn geregistreerd.
