 ze zegt dat het geen license is die moet ze inderdaad elk jaar betalen was its van 1300 peso . daarnaast moet je een groot bedrag betalen ,het bedrag verschilt of je op een drukke route wilt rijden of een minder drukke route . iff u not pay the orgenazation then your not allowed to pick up people on the streets. ze hebben zelf een president (soort maffia dan inderdaad lijkt me).
naar mijn inziens liegt ze er niet om  dat dat zoveel kost . het is gewoon een crminele organisatie waar ze aan moet betalen (ze willen dat je betaald).ik gloof nooit dat de overheid er legaal iets mee te maken heeft .ze gaat het nog vragen aan de politie or the president off the toda (whatever that is)

70000 voor een 2de hands trycicle?
Mijn schoonbroer heeft daarvoor in manila een goeldnieuw gekocht

Een nieuwe motor koste 80000 en een sidecar eraan monteren koste 20000 peso. Dat was voor een merk dat ik niet ken. Hier kan je natuurlijk ook een 2de hands auto motor kopen voor 2000 euro maar ook voor 12000, ligt er natuurlijk aan watvoor merk enzovoort. Motor is 1 jaar oud btw

Als de fee echt tussen de 70000 en 120000pesos zou zijn, dan zouden er maar weinig tricycles rondrijden. Dan zou de tricycle pas na 1000 dagen (2,7 jaar) winstgevend worden als de operator 120 pesos per dag vraagt.

Een vergunning voor een taxi kost in Manila 70000pesos.

Is dan wel in Angeles, als die broer al een tricycle driver is dan zal het hem wel gaan lukken daar te gaan rijden.
Ik hoop echt voor je dat die broer een normale kerel is, niet eentje die half bezopen op dat ding gaat zitten crossen.
Gun je het beste, maar met deze aanschaf ben je er nog niet, dan gaat er weer wat stuk, dan gebeurt er dit weer.
Er zijn er nu al 2 die er aan moeten verdienen, gaat moeilijk worden, maar laat het maar weten over een tijdje hoe het gaat.

Requirements for owning and operating a tricycle route

First off, you will need to invest in a tricycle. A brand new tricycle, including the sidecar, will cost you PhP 60,000 up to PhP 80,000. If you choose to buy a secondhand vehicle, this will cost you about PhP 30,000 to PhP 40,000.

You will need to register your business with the Department of Trade and Industry. This requires the following:

1. accomplished Business Name registration form
2. Tax Identification Number (TIN)
3. list of five business names ranked according to preference
4. PhP 300.00 registration fee

Once this is accomplished, you have to apply to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to be able to operate your tricycle route. If you are applying as an individual, the following are required:

1. verified petition
2. TIN
3. official receipt and registration of vehicle(s) with year and model
4. proof of Filipino citizenship (birth certificate, voter's affidavit)
5. Community Tax Certificate
6. Information Data Sheet
7. valid certificate of business name issued by DTI
8. certificate of bank deposit and passbook
9. location map and picture of garage with dimensions, TCT/ tax declaration or contract of lease with specific garage area
10. two copies of passport size (2×2) picture of the applicant with specimen signature at the back
11. zoning clearance for operators with at least 3 vehicles and overnight parking permit for operators with less than 3 units
12. personal appearance of the applicant, or Special Power of Attorney in favor of parent, spouse, son, daughter, or legal counsel

You may also apply with a cooperative, which has the following additional requirements:

1. Certificate of Registration from CDA
2. Certificate of Good Standing from OTC
3. Management Agreement between cooperative and member
4. Board Resolution authorizing the representative to file application

The franchise fee is PhP 3,000, and payment for boundary is PhP 120-150 per day.

De voetnoot eraan....

One of the commonly used vehicles here in the Philippines are tricycles. Owning and operating tricycles is not as easy as it is. After buying a tricycle, you need to register it to Department of Trade and Industry..and some other government requirements..and then, you need to get in touch with the person incharge on what we call franchise if there is available slot they need for tricycle to run on the specific route you want it to register with. I known tricycle operators who already earning money out of it. According to them, the maintenance in tricycle is not that expensive compared to the normal vehicles, like cars, or SUVs. For you to earn a lot with this kind of business, you need to have at least, 3-7 units of tricycles...to cope up with standard of living...and best is to get drivers that will run the vehicle in a good way....)
